Install AnyDesk via DEB Repository


 

Run the following commands as root user:

- add repository key to Trusted software providers list

wget -qO - https://keys.anydesk.com/repos/DEB-GPG-KEY | apt-key add -

- add the repository:

echo "deb http://deb.anydesk.com/ all main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/anydesk-stable.list

- update apt cache:

apt update

- install anydesk:

apt install anydesk

Users had to install from source. Installation from source is not easy for Linux newbies. Now  Zotero snaps  packaging available. Snap  is a software package management and deployment system developed by Canonical (Mother organisation of Ubuntu Linux). It's easy to deploy applications using the Snap tool. Snap package management system can work with most Linux distributions (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch). Packages are called ' snaps ' and the package management tool called ' snapd '.
